Tea Party

An on the eighth day God created really good friends to entertain your children while you enjoy and all too rare date night.

Mommy and Daddy slipped out for an evening of dinner and theatre while the kids spent the evening with God parents BJ & Amber. The TPAC performance of 9 to 5 was made all of the more enjoyable by the knowledge that our children were in great hands.

It turns out BJ and Skyler woofed down pizza while watching movies. Amber put on a tea party for Princess Ava Grace and Princess Isabella Reagan. The tea party was followed by pedicures with pink toe nail polish for the royal feet.

This kid thing isn't easy but BJ and Amber sure make it look easy. I had warned them that Baby Bella wasn't eating well. I returned to find that she had eaten them out of house and home. She ate pizza with sun dried tomatoes and cucumbers - for the first time - and a host of other things she had already refused earlier in the day.

Is it just me or do kids love making a fool out of their parents?
