Field Trip Dress Up

I enjoyed taking this little field trip bound girl to the bus stop this morning. Heading to the Children's Theatre, she chose a jumper and open toe shoes.  Indeed, her Mother's daughter.

Breakfast Buddies

Our first day back after our first night back in our bed, I thought the family would want to sleep in.  Apparently, that was not Isabella's plan.  She woke me up early and said, "Daddy, want to get up and have breakfast with me on the deck?"   Well, of course I did.

Final Morning on the Beach

Indeed, parting is such sweet sorrow.  We don't want to leave the beach but we soooo want to get back to our kids.  A morning walk on the beach before packing up and heading out.  What an incredible week with the love of my life.

Spotted Stingray

Who knew?  We spotted a spotted stingray swimming way too close to shore - at least for my comfort level.The black blob you see if the stingray.

Backwater Adventure

Our fifth and final day started with backwater tour in a personal two-seat catamaran.  The tour worked us through part of the 10,000 islands, the mangroves, the town of Goodland and into the gulf.  Good times! 

Wildlife Adventure

Egret birds, Pelicans and Dolphins were new friends we made along our way.  Very interesting to see Dolphins beside you when your virtually sitting in the water with them.
