Shoe Shocked

Yes, it's that time again. Time to get all three of our girls shoed.  There is an old saying, "when you own a horse, it will get more new shoes than you do."  Truth!  Very thankful for how calm and collected everyone was today.

Mane Down

Feet done, why not get a fresh mane cut in also.  Isabella did a great job.  I really prefer a mule to have  short mane.

Fancy Like...

It's tradition for me to send Bella a picture of my Applebee's lunch when I'm working in Owensboro, KY.  I don't mind making her jealous, not one bit.

TN Large

Thanks to our friend Peter Kelley for helping me hang the giant TN flag in the garage.  You know what they say, "go big or go home."

Rhinestone Gala

What a wonderful evening at Vintage Affair's Rhinestone Gala. I had the prettiest cowgirls in the room.

Donkey Playing Dead

Yes, this will make your heart stop when you drive up. Murphy lays around like he's dead at times.  Rest assured, he's alive, well and stubborn.

Breezey

With the heat and humidity generating a feels like of 107, it's time to pull out the pasture fan for these girls. Emerald and Clara especially enjoyed the breeze.  Clara, for some reason, kept turning her rear to fan.  Oh, well. I guess she's a cool a**.

Catter Chatter

We stopped by the Kelley's after church to see their new litter and then went to the farm where we played with our latest editions.  There's a lot of catter chatter in our family of late.  We used to say the world has gone to the dogs but I do believe it might be accurately stated, gone to the cats.

Nash Day

We have been looking forward to this for a long time.  A relaxing day of strolling through downtown Nashville and stopping in a boot store or ten. Boots were had! So was lunch at Margaritaville.
