RIP, Dakota

It is with a heavy heart and very raw emotions that we have to report that Dakota is no longer with us.  He woke up very sick early this morning and by afternoon we had him in the ER.  Turns out, he had a congenital condition called Persistent Right Aortic Arc.

We have laid him to rest on the farm.  RIP, Dakota. Thanks for the memories.  You will always have a place on the farm.

Too Tired to Care

It's a good sign when the dogs are too tired to care if the other one is on the bed too.

My Ship Mate

Dakota enjoy hanging with me in the garage for several hours while I worked on the kayaks. What a good mate.

Turning Dirt

With two of the raised beds now cleared, Isabella put some muscle behind turning the soil and conditioning it for the future.

Basket Case

Dakota has learned that he can nose dive into the toy box and just play to his hearts content.

Tale of Two Dogs

One minute Dakota is just holding up the wall, the next minute he is terrorizing Lady Juliet.  Can we reach a compromise, please?

Saddle Refresh

You just gotta love their work ethic.  We found an ole leather saddle at a consignment shop and these girls have been soaping and conditioning the leather while doing some spot repair.  Nice job, ladies. What's old is like new again.

Clearly a crowd favorite and certainly a crowd favorite in this Jeep.
