One Lucky Guy

Here I am, six hours from home, working 12 hour days.  And in comes this video from my little angel.  I am one lucky guy.

Girly Date

Ever wonder what the girls do while Daddy is away on a business trip?  Yep, you got it.  They sit on the floor and work on their nails.  It's a girly date.

And Daddy?  He sits in the hotel and blogs about his girlies.

Why is this girl smiling so big?  She has just met 20 new friends at The Tractor Supply Store- 20 little baby chics.

She saw only friendly little chics.  Me? I saw a future fried chicken dinner at the Apple Barn.  My, how age changes your perception.

Remember when ten minutes in the stuffed animal section was all it took to find a new BFF?  Those were the days.  Bella loving on her new BFF, Mr. Bunny Ears.

Manly Mani

I was so honored to be asked to sit in Salon Bella for a manly manicure.  The owner, herself, took time to do my nails.

Dance Class - Day One

My little Ballerina heading out for her very first day of dance class.  She even has her very own "dance bag" in which to put her change of clothes.

Mommy reports that Bella did well and asked "can we come back" when it was all over.   Let the dancing fever begin.

Cold, windy and gray winter day.  Sick and stuck in bed.  No, don't feel bad for me.  I just scrolled through six hundred of the pictures from 2012.  Sure was nice to see the Beach 2012 pics - longing for warm, well and sand beneath my feet.

Ever notice how my girls are always putting their hands on their hips?  Never realized that until I started scrolling.  Wonder what that means?  Did Sky and I do something wrong?  If so, we must do it often.

A planned Sunday afternoon cookout moved to a Sunday lunch out after the skies opened up unexpectedly.

The great thing about kids, they could care less.  The world is one big play ground for them.
