Sun and Rain

After a week of biblical proportional rain, the donkeys were not interested in eating, just standing in the sun.  Soaking up some sun instead of rain and mud.  It's a good day in the pasture!

The Love Farm

Lots of love and kisses on the farm today.  Our animals are very glad we are back home.

My Tiffany Blue Ski Girl

Checking the weather app prior to boarding our flight, maybe this turned out to be a good day to fly back to Tennessee.  Minus twelve is not exactly ski weather for this family.  But I sure got a kick out of watching my little skier travel with her matching luggage and ski bag.  This girl is all put together.
 

Last Day on the Slopes

Our last day on the slopes this season turned out to be a difficult day.  Even at 1:11pm the feels like was -5 degrees.  It was a day where we came in after every three runs to have either coffee or chili and spend time warming up.  I was able to break new ground on a run we hadn't tried before.  Still a good day on the slopes.
 

The Breck Mountains

I don't have to tell Bella Blog Nation that I love mountains.  We took the day to walk around and explore Main St. Breckenridge.  The view from there is amazing as well. 

Breck Shop

Well, I give it to them. Main St. Breck has some cute shops and about a hundred coffee shops. Enjoyed exploring with my girls.

Breck Color

Having outgrown the ski wear she wore the last two years, Isabella sporting some new colors on the mountain.  And the cover for her goggles made for an interesting look on her head.

Freeze Zone

It was a bitterly cold, windy and snowy day on the slopes.  Bella and I managed to get in ten runs before calling it.  Mom a few less but we all had a good time. Now....where is the oxygen bar, I can't breathe. 

Look at Those Turns

Isabella has not missed a step since being here last year. Improving yet again on her turns as we begin the day.  The cold, cold day.
 

Airport BBQ

Nashville is known for its BBQ and Hot Chicken.  Turns out, you can get both at the airport.  Bella said, "pretty good. But not smoked for six hours like Mr. Traywicks."  She's not wrong.

Breck or Bust

With all of the uncertainty, we weren't sure we were going to get to go even though the trip has been booked for months.  Alas, up and away to Breckenridge.  It is Breck or Bust for the Cain's.  The mountains are calling and we must go. 
 

Melting Whaaaaaaat?

Those smiles tell it all.  We landed in Denver and were headed to Breckenridge, thinking it was a Chic-fil-A night.  Well, a funny thing happened on our way to Chick-fil-A.  We ended up at a Melting Pot we didn't know existed.  And with the one in Nashville still closed, I just had to treat my girls.

When you go feed/water the horses before dinner and then show up  - only be accused of dressing like John Dutton.  Let's get this straight - I was wearing vests and boots long before Kevin Costner got in the saddle.  #yellowstone
