Omni Amelia Island Plantation
Day two and it was onto our final destination - six days in the paradise known as Amelia Island Plantation. It has been three years since we were here and we just can't believe how much Omni has changed the plantation with it's $70 million renovation.
Changed, but for the better. Amelia will always hold a special place in our hearts since it is were Isabella was conceived. So thankful the people of Omni decided to invest in this special place.
Marche' Burette
If you ever get the chance - go to Marche' Burette for homemade ice cream and a cookie. Preferably a peanut butter cookie.

Dolphin Magic
Rise and shine - time for Family Beach Vacation 2014. Everybody was up, on it and out the door by 8:00am. That promptness landed us in Savannah, Georgia in time for ride aboard the Dolphin Magic river cruise.
On the Way Out
A little history and a little southern charm on our way out towards Tybee Island. A pass by Ft. Jackson and the Georgia Queen.
Dolphin Friendly
Approaching Tybee it was "everyone to the rails" in hopes of catching a glimpse of the Dolphins. They did not disappoint, in fact, seemed to enjoy close approaches to the vessel.
Spanky's
Then onto Spanky's for some Mahi-Mahi. No, that would be wrong. Onto to Spanky's for a bacon burger and fries.

So....
So - I picked her up from Discovery on the last day before vacation and took her straight to Walgreens for a bag of Skittles. So. Yeah, I can do that. I',m Daddy.

Gliding
The kids enjoyed time with Grandma and Grandpa today. Isabella and Grandpa spent some quality time on the glider while she regaled us with wild stories. For example, she told us about a rabbit that jumped on our roof and had 91 carrots in it's mouth. The story went on and on - less and less believable by the minute. But entertaining it was.

Head and Shoulders
That awkward moment in Lowe's when you realize your son is taller than you. And to make it that much better, Isabella announced that she too would be taller than Mommy soon.

Siblings
Skyler and I were patiently listening as this years awards were handed out after Bella's recital. The Director announces that the next award is for "Best Attitude." Skyler looks at me and said, "well, we know this one isn't going to Isabella."
"Isabella Cain" the Director announces.
Mouth wide open, hands open in a sign of confusion - Skyler said "how could that be?"
I am laughing out loud while proudly snapping pictures of a proud and deserving Isabella. Skyler continued to protest that that award couldn't possibly go to his sister.
Well, there you have it. Siblings at their best.

3 n 3
Picking outfits for vacation Isabella said to me "Daddy, can I pick three and you pick three? That will make six outfits."
What? Where did that come from? When did she start learning math? Well, I guess this explains it. She knows "2 n 2 is four" and that "3 n 3 is six." This girl learns fast and loves to blow her Daddy's mind.

Safari Guide
No question about it, this is the Safari Guide I want on my trip to Africa. I am simply loving this safari vest Isabella made at school. She never ceases to amaze.

Before
We had to wait until after the recital and apparently the day is here. I'll admit to being a little nervous.
The Big Cut
The process starts with a washing in the sink.
OH, DEAR! Are we really doing this?
Yikes! Too late to change our minds now.
Is it a bad sign when your stylist starts freaking out?
After
Exactly what she wanted and she looks soooooo stinkin' adorable.
Perhaps the most (over) photographed hair cut in history but boy, did that takes a lot of guts. Not for her, for us.

Convention - Day Two
There's nothing like doing business with people you love. Isabella will be upset when she finds out Mr. Dabney was here and we didn't bring her.
