Easter 2013

And a new tradition begins.   We chose to complete Easter Baskets for the kids with things they wanted or needed, without candy.  One Chocolate Bunny each and then the LOOT!    They loved it!

Bella was thrilled that the Easter Bunny brought her a Disney hat, Disney PJ's and Disney swimsuit.  She was all to happy to model the Disney hat.

You see three baskets? Yes, you do.  The Easter Bunny decided to leave a basket for Mommy as well.

To Bow and Worship

Baskets attacked, breakfast conquered - time to get dressed and head out to Grace Chapel.  A wonderful opportunity to celebrate our risen Savior.

The Family Gathers

The kids enjoy opening Easter baskets from the grandparents while waiting on Easter Dinner to be served.

Easter Dinner 2013

And the Easter Bunny strikes again - surprise baskets for the grandparents.  Papa said it had been 50 years since he had an Easter Basket.   The kids were thrilled to present baskets to their older hero's.

Easter Egg Hunt

 

Too rainy and wet outside, we moved the Easter Egg Hunt for Bella into the living room. Not once, not twice but many times we had to hide the eggs.  She even convinced big brother to play along.

I have to admit, Bella is a pretty good little hunter.

Dinner Date

And this is the best kind.  The double dinner date where Mommy gets to hang with BFF's while the kids have a play date.

And the best part?  They each thought the night was about them and I got fed an amazing meal with an amazing dessert.

Ms. Virginia

Bella had an absolutely wonderful night of dinner, movie, popcorn, running and hair games with friend Virginia.   A true girls night.

Oh, and a shout out to Ms. Virginia.  She was such a good sport for Baby Bella.  You are welcome anytime, Ms. Virginia.

Eggo Land

No, I didn't forget the L.  Bella enjoyed coloring her perfect dozen eggs.  Although she kept telling me "the purple is struggling, Daddy."  Her eggs came out PERFECT!

And she gave me a cheesy smile telling me she thinks so too.

Spring Fling, Again

The family headed out to Opry Mills for a day of shopping.  Aquarium Restaurant for lunch - oh yeah!
