The family was honored to attend the FDAK Presidential Gala. A very memorable evening for everyone and the kids at Koshair's Children Hospital were the winners.

Convention Tradition Shared
Happy to share our Spaghetti Factory tradition with Tiffani. This was her first visit to The Factory and her very first Spumoni. Yum!

Daddy / Daughter Day
And it begins with Isabella doing her own her. After all, she does it better than Daddy does. Now it's off for a busy day of errands ahead of our convention trip.
American Girl Spa
Well, it goes like this. I had to stop by the Dillard's to pick up something for convention. Dillard's is in the mall. Amercian Girl store is in the mall. Isabella was with me. Isabella wanted to stop in American Girl. Hence, we bring home the American Girl Spa.
Totally makes sense. And this girl has spent the last three hours doing hair - just like Mommy.

Working Man
So proud of Skyler as he spends time in Kentucky. Yes, he is fishing, hunting, firing off rifles, and driving the tractor. But he is also working the door at the funeral home. I have enjoyed the positive reports back. Especially the ones that say he is a "Little Terry".
So proud of the man he is becoming and the way he carries himself. He is the one and only, Skyman.

Mermaid - Then & Now
I mentioned earlier in the week that Isabella didn't remember the mermaid. This is her visiting the mermaids 2012 and 2016. We had a lot of fun going back through the blog and comparing the photos from then and now. Memories...

Friendly Art Crowd
We are always amazed at how Isabella finds friends anywhere we find ourselves. There is just something about the art station that seems friend friendly. Isabella acquired a bracelet, three tattoos and two new friends in less than an hour. We adults could learn something here.
Mermaid Tales
These are tales about the Mermaid tail. Yet a different mermaid graced our presence today. Isabella tried to act uninterested and but never left her side.
Tiki Habit
Deborah and I have always looked forward to lunch at the tiki hut during vacation. There is just something about cooling off under the umbrella, sipping ice tea and taking in the sites and sounds of the ocean.
This trip offered an additional bonus. Isabella is now old enough to play in the pool while we lunch at the tiki hut. We were able to see her and still enjoy a romantic couples lunch and conversation. (sometimes that means holding hands and saying nothing) So long, tiki hut. We are going to miss you.
