That look you get when you pull out the luggage to start packing and the dogs realize you are about to leave town.  Yeah, it works. I feel guilty.
 

Showtime, Ride Time

It's an early morning on a big day. We are taking Chrissy and TN Whiskey to the arena for a workout. But first, we have to clean up and groom.  We want our girls looking their best today.

Picture Proof

A year ago she had never been haltered or asked to be a horse.  2 months ago she had never been saddled and wouldn't let anyone spray her for flies.  Today she stood perfectly still while Deborah braided her mane.  Progress! This is picture proof.

Post Grooming Nap

Apparently, grooming and braiding makes the girls sleepy.  They were litterally falling into a deep sleep immediately after.

Reunited

Bella had the great idea to bring Spirit back over to the big girl pasture so Emerald wouldn't be alone while we took the others to the arena.  They seemed to enjoy each others company.

First Up, Chrissy

Chrissy was first to be saddled and Bella was the first ride up.

The Big Break

Dennis on board Tennessee Whiskey - this is a first.  We are about to see how the girl does in an arena and with other horses/riders around.
 

Bella Up

Another first!  Whiskey did great for Dennis so he got off and let Bella ride her.  They did great!  TN Whiskey isn't a horse you ask anything of - you have to tell her. Then she does great.
