Winter Picnic

A week ago it was 5 degrees and snowing.  Today is was sunny and 67 degrees. A week ago they were sledding, today they decided on a winter picnic in the back yard.  Welcome to an indecisive  Tennessee winter.

Sledding at School

No classes but recess nonetheless.  The kids went over to Chapman's Retreat to do some sledding.

Things That Go Together

Drove home in a driving snow and unloaded the van in -1 degree temps.  Made my signature hot chocolate in Mom's old glass pot.  Time to sit on the sofa and hold my girl's hand.
