Skidding Thru the Weekend

 

Day two of some work and uh, play on the skid steer.  I think we got it all checked off the list.

Gate Break

The end of long and hot weekend. Hot, tired and hungry -  I stopped to fill up the water trough and accidently let the mini donkey's escape. Argh!  It took a bit of work and some grain to get them corralled again.  

A friend of mine asked me what they did, I accurately replied, "they ran around like a bunch of asses."

Farm Tired

There is no tired like farm tired.

Over Kill

No, you don't need a skid steer to move a bale of hay. But att this point in the day, I'm not about to carry it across the pasture. 

Donkey Dung

When you decide to clean the stalls in the donkey shelter and all they want to do is play and get in the way.
 

Farm & Lunch

An Eagleville Italian lunch for these two.  You might say it's payment for some farm work that's about to happen.

Putter Togetherer

Wow! So proud of my little girl. We had to get a crate for Sedona that she couldn't break out of.  After arriving today, she opened it up and put it together by herself.  Well played, Isabella Reagan.
 

Sedona Snuggles

No fair, Isabella is stealing my snuggles.  No wait! No fair, Sedona is stealing my snuggles.  Nobody is snuggling with me!!!!!! The struggle is real.

She's a truck girl! Well, I guess most farm/horse girls are.

Consoling Themselves

I like to think this is how the girls console themselves when I'm out of town. But I fear it's just that they like to hang together.
 

Skid Steer Couple

Some Sunday afternoon rock work required the skid steer. Yes, the couple that rides together, stays together. That applies to the skid steer also.

Swing & Sunset

It's been a good day, tater.  Two things that don't disappoint on the Ridge - the swing and the sunset.  Btw, that's the prettiest girl God ever made sitting on that swing.
