Isabella's Top 5 favorite things about going to the movies:
#1 Popcorn
#2 Candy
#3 Arcade Rides
#4 Bathrooms
#5 The Movie
That's right, the movie is her least favorite part of "going to the movies." By the way, who dressed that girl?

Office Mate
Daddy spent a long day in the office so Isabella decided to come be with me since I couldn't go upstairs to her. I must admit, the best office mate a Daddy could ask for.
It took a four year old to teach me that you can snuggle together by just being in the same room, even though your not touching.

Tubing 2014
Looks like we have a winter tradition. Our second annual tubing trip - this year to Ober Gatlinburg.
The temperature was at -8 degrees when I purchased the tickets on Friday and it wasn't much warmer than that when we hit the mountain this morning.
Underarmour, smiles, tubing. We hit the mountain styling, then the mountain hit back.
Down The Mountain...
...at 35mph on a round device I can't steer and with no brake. Am I crazy! Yes, but I am having a blast.
Isabella had the quote of the day: "That was fun. Can we do it ten hundred times?"
On the Ice
Ice outside, Ice inside. Deborah and Skyler enjoyed time on the ice rink. Deborah skated around and Skyler...well, Skyler spend most of his time on his seat and knees.
Sunset on the Mountain
What a day! As the sun set on the mountain, we started making our way down. At dinner, Isabella was too tired to sit up - that translates to....What a day!

Melting Pot - Melting Away
An evening at the Melting Pot, melting the stress away. Celebrating times and trends with friends.
Kids? What kids? Oh, you mean Skyler, Bella, Ava Grace and Emma? Not tonight. This was about the big kids.

So what do you when you suddenly have two kids on yet another snow day out of school? Cabin fever meet Monkey Joes's.

Nose to the Wheel
Seven days? Where has House of Cain been? Well, as we used to say growing up...everyone has their nose to the wheel.
Daddy is back to working, read travelling. Mommy is juggling work and kids on the home front. And the kids? Well, no time to terrorize, they too have their nose to the wheel back in school.
We used to call it nose to wheel. Now, we just call it life.

Harlem Globetrotters
A first for all four members of the family, an evening with the Harlem Globetrotters. I can sum it up in one word: FUN!
Big G
Isabella enjoyed the dance stylings of mascots Big G and Globie. I can't recall when I have seen her dance more, laugh more or clap more. Without a doubt, this is the most she has enjoyed any event to which we have taken her.

Need for Read
That moment when you realize you might be doing something right...
Isabella walks into my office with her Bible, sits on my desk and says with an earnest face: "Daddy, I have to learn to read so I can read my Bible."
I melt.

Evening with Lady Jane
The extended family enjoyed a wonderful evening with Lady Jane. Only a few months from celebrating her 100th birthday, she regaled us with song, scripture, stories and prayer.
A blessed event that none of us will ever forget.
