Training Session
Mommy's mini me practicing her mad hair skills on Mommy. The skill set seems to have carried through to the next generation.

Just for Me
Bella wanted Mommy to send me a photo of her waiting to go into school - one of reasons I boldly declare technology isn't always bad. I get instant real time views of my Princess.

A Little Clownish
That'll teach Mommy not to leave her lipstick in plain view while she goes to the restroom. And that'll teach Daddy to not be on his phone while Mommy goes to the restroom. Somebody has a clown face.

Watching You, Watching Me
Isabella had a great idea, if I have to rest to recover, who says I can't lay in the hammock outside and recover? The girl has a point. Even if it was because she wanted to play outside while I rested.
An hour or so later, I find myself starring at a Robin on the fence and amused at his interest in me. I watched him, he watch me. Together we passed the time. Eventually he flew away and I wondered what he might say about me when he returned home.
Who knows, he might have been wondering what I would blog about him.
OK, I'm blogging about birds. Does this mean I'm better or that I've spiked a fever?

Easter 2014
What a beautiful family, but where's Daddy? Easter Sunday started with a 4:00am allergic reaction episode. Daddy was in the ER and admitted to the hospital by 8:00am.
Even so, He is Risen and the celebration goes on. Thanks to Mommy, Nana and Papa for making it a special day for the kids.

ER on the Road
Not how you want to spend your night, Daddy found himself in the ER for an allergic reaction to an antibiotic. Hoping for a quick recovery to make it home tomorrow.

Tubby at Nana's
Isabella got her tubby at Nana's and then played in Nana's bed until Mommy arrived to pick her up. One spoiled little girl - my, how I miss her.

Sunday at the Master's
Well, kinda. The kids came into may office and busted me for working while watching the final round of the Master's. There is nothing quite like the back nine of Augusta National on Sunday.
Bubba Watson eventually prevailed and celebrated his victory at Waffle House. Yes, you read correctly, Waffle House.
There he sits, with his wife, Pastor friend and his wife. Now there is a man who isn't far from his small town roots. Yes, he owns two green jackets. Yes, he has won two of the last three Master's tournaments. Yes, he still knows who he is.
Private note to my kids. No matter how successful you become, and I have no doubt you will do well, never forget where you came from or who you are. And never forsake the simple pleasures in life - like a late night dinner at Waffle House.

Back Seat Satisfaction
The Cain family is still celebrating the back seat DVD players in Mommy's car. Had we known. Oh, had we known. We would have traded cars years ago.
It is the small things in life that matter. Like not hearing "are we there yet." Like being able to have a long quality conversation with your wife on your drive. Like two happy kids, each watching their own chosen video. Long live The Chipmunks, Cinderella, Cats & Dogs and all of the cartoons that have added sanity to drive time.

The Master's 2014
The legendary Magnolia lane that the players drive down, historic Butler Cabin Clubhouse and the yellow pansies in Founder's Circle. There is only one Augusta National.
Augusta National
You just can't believe how small the greens are. You can't begin to understand the slope of the greens until you see them up close. You are not prepared for how steep the hills are on the course.
