First Chair Lift Ride

A visit to Guntown Mountain provided Bella an opportunity to enjoy her very first chair lift.  An uncertain rider at first, the problem soon became keeping her from scooting up to the edge of the seat.

Can Can Show

No sooner had we arrived on the mountain than we were ushered into the Saloon for an old fashion Can Can Show.  A what?  And with a retired minister accompanying me?  Good thing he's retired! 

Not sure whether to be impressed or concerned but Bella seemed to enjoy the dancing, even tried a little of her own. 

May the Lord have mercy.

Crimes Against Parents

We take back-talk seriously around here.  As you can see, Bella missed the whole "this is a bad thing" idea.  (but she has "cute" down to a science.)

The Undertaker

Always prospecting for new customers, I had to visit Hymie Grimm, the Undertaker.

Gun Fight

Tragedy struck while we were in Guntown Mountain.  A couple of guys robbed the local bank.  A gun fight ensued and a hanging occured to punish the criminals.   To great relief, all of the Cain clan survived the scare.

Kentuckian - Upstairs

Proof certain that God likes to brag about his Kentucky creation every now and then.

Pack n Play n

Mommy and Daddy were packing while the kids were playing.  We call it Pack n Play. (and you thought that was just something babies played in while they were little.)

This is how we roll on summer break.

Highlights

The highlight of the day was a suprise and welcome visit from Grandma and Grandpa. Hugs all around!

WWF

The World Wrestling Federation has nothing on this family.  The kids were in the floor  wrestling over who knows what.  Papa, Aunt B and Mommy were wrestling over who got the chair.

Perhaps, just perhaps...Papa could join the WWF tour to help support his retirment years.

37 Years

The family capped a big day with a celebratory retirement dinner for Papa and Nana.  Having served one congregation for 37 year, we thought they had earned a nice dinner at a Japanese Steakhouse.

The kids, well - their culture and refinement were on display for everyone to see.
