Rockin' in the New Year
Isabella, our little rocker, rockin' the New Year. The old saying is whatever your doing on News Years Eve is what you'll be doing all year long.
Singing, dancing, making music - spot on. That's our rockin' Bella.

The House of Cain was dressed and ready to watch Peyton Manning's record setting performance. Love watching football with my family!

The Newness
A smile invaded my face as I glanced back over my shoulder and noticed the all new Isabella. I remember these days as a kid. It's the post Christmas lifestyle. Wearing a new shirt, drinking from new cup and enjoying music from brother's new headphones.
And yes. That is the smug look of someone enjoying her new. I remember that feeling as well. I guess we haven't evolved as much we sometimes like to think.

Christmas Mustache
A hold over Christmas photo - there is always one. Celebrating my surprise stocking Mustache. Isabella says I look "funny, wunny." I'll take that.

Santa Delivers
The much anticipated moment when we slink slowly down the stairs to see what Santa brought. Isabella was thrilled that Santa brought her the twins she requested AND a double stroller in which to push them.
Stocked Stockings
Santa's gift is usually followed by gifts from Mommy and Daddy. This year Isabella decided she wanted to explore her stocking before opening her parental gifts. Oh, to be a kid at Christmas!
Back on Track
Santa, stockings...now she turns her sites to the presents from Mommy and Daddy. I love the wonderment of the moment. I know for myself, and I think for Isabella as well, most of the pleasure is not what is in the box but what the moment represents. It is the Christmas spirit.
Big Brother, Big Presents
Skyler enjoyed his "bigger and cooler" gifts. So what are twelve year olds excited about these days? Digital camera's, headphones, high top shoes and anything Under Armour.
Oh, and anything orange.
