New Bella Tree

Look who has a new, bigger and better Christmas tree.  And yes, she insisted on pink lights over her door frame.

Yay!  Our little princess loves Christmas as much as Mommy, Daddy and Brother.

Thanksgiving 2013

And a truly wonderful day it was!   So much to be Thankful for, including for a day as relaxed and enjoyable as this.

Slooooowly

Putting the finishing touches on a fabulous meal.

Thankful for These

A little time to pose for pictures in between telling stories, eating, laughing, talking and hugging.

Top Ten Thanks

Each family member wrote down the top ten things for which they were thankful.  Isabella said she was thankful for Daddy and Ava Grace.  Skyler was thankful for food and shoes.

Spot on.  Whatever it is, when ever you can - give thanks. We are trying to raise our kids with an awareness of thanksgiving and giving praise.

Thanks and Tanked

Tired and ready to kick back for the rest of the evening.  Still, 10,000 reasons for my heart to sing.

Bless The Lord, O my soul.
Worship His holy name.
Sing like never before,
O my soul.
I worship His holy name

Best of the Fair

Isabella sporting one of the three handmade outfits we found at the craft fair.  Yes, she was fairest of the fair and her new dress proves it.

Fun Outing

A fun outing with Grandma and Grandpa started with lunch by the fireplace.  BBQ, sweet cornbread, corn on the cob - perfect nourishment for a cold day.

Never too Old to Learn

Grandpa and Skyler were less than excited about the craft fair part of the afternoon.  Grandpa went back to school and Skyler caught some winks against the glass.

Those Poor Boys

I woke up this morning and chuckled to see that both of my girls have pretty roses sitting beside their bed.

Mommy, as she always does, took her three dozen birthday roses and arranged them in a vase beside the bed.  She then took one of each of the three colors and put them a vase beside Isabella's bed.

You would have thought Isabella was given a million dollars.  This girl loves to feel special with the gift of pretty flowers.

It got me thinking. And chuckling.  Those poor boys that set out to win her attention may well go broke keeping her in flowers.  I do love that she loves to feel special and knows that she is worth pretty flowers.

Attention boys, save up some money or find a great place to pick pretty flowers.  My pretty and special girl loves pretty flowers and loves to feel special.  For this, I shall not apologize.
