Gathering for a Goodbye

The family gathered for a celebration of life and a fond farewell to Mr. Monty.  An important and yet teachable moment.  An opportunity to teach Isabella that you always take time to celebrate the people that invest in your life.

First Grade Back Pack

Proving once again that it's never too early to prepare for your big day, Isabella has picked out and purchased her first grade back pack.  Yes, we are still a month and half away from First Grade.

Remembering & Respect

Isabella requested that she be able to put flowers on Grandma's grave and Grandpa thought that was a good idea.  We gathered grave side and it turned into a family affair.  Dad and I bought the flowers, Skyler helped with the vase, Isabella placed the flowers and Mommy fluffed them.

Matter of the Heart

I recently mentioned that Isabella has a heart for honoring those that have gone before.  She wanted to take Mom on a tour and show her some of the memorials in the cemetery.  I love her little soft heart - it is truly a gift.

Introducing, Emma

Meet Isabella's new American Girl Doll, Emma.  And note that Isabella and Emma have matching PJ's.   That is one happy little girl.

American Girl Doll Store

Daddy promised to take Isabella for a shopping spree to the American Girl Doll store if she learned to sleep in her big girl bed.  Seven weeks later and having slept in her big girl bed every night, a promise made is a promise kept.

Bella shopped her little heart out and even dined in the American Girl Doll Bistro.
