She Gets It!
She's a really good observer - by the end of the evening she was handing out candy to the Trick or Treater's. She gets it! And in true Baby Bella fashion, she was aggressive at giving out the candy.
And I have to say - what a trooper. She stayed outside until 9:00pm - way past her bedtime. She really did great.

Maiden Voyage
She loves riding for a short period of time but then likes to get out and pull it herself. The wagon proved a fun way to spend a fall afternoon with Baby Bell.

Pumpkin 2010
Baby Bella enjoyed the festive atmosphere but wanted nothing to do with putting her hands inside the gooey pumpkin - smart girl.
Aw, the pumpkin is carved. The goblin's can't be far behind.

Trauma Drama
This particular visit called for a "routine" finger prick to test patient Bella's iron level. Routine it was not. The nurse proceeded to stick, slide, apply the band aid and the walk out the door. Baby Bella was in a full blown meltdown as she tried to pull the band aid off to get to the source of the pain.
Seconds later the band aid came off and blood was flowing everywhere. We tried to apply pressure and reapply a band aid but to no avail. Mommy went to the door and get the nurse. It took two of them to get the proper pressure, stop the bleeding and apply a wrap.
Mommy and Bella were in tears, the nurse was mortified and Daddy was minus one blue dress shirt. All of this and we still hadn't gotten to the shots yet. Are you kidding me?
The shots were anti climatic - thankfully. Alas, we were out the door.
Grandma Cain met us at the house and comforted our little free bleeder. Clearly traumatized, Baby Bella proceeded to take a two hour nap.
And just think - we get to do it all over again in three weeks. Thank goodness kids are resilient.
