Shoestring

 

Isabella was determined to tie Daddy's shoes for him this morning.  After a couple of minutes of trial and error, Mommy seized the teachable moment and helped Bella achieve her goal.

Now,  admit it.  When you first saw the pictures you thought to yourself "yep, Terry has gotten too old to tie his own shoes.  The girls have to do it for him."  Well, you're wrong!  And shame on you to boot!

I must, however that I have never sat back and watched two women tie my shoes for me.  It might have felt awkward except I was too busy watching Isabella learn a new skill and documenting it with my iPhone.

Here's to teachable moments and the joy of raising Skyler Dane and Isabella Reagan.
