Labor Day 2013

Well, I labored on Labor Day; but it was a labor of love!:) House and yard full of all kids and grandkids!:) It started with a French toast brunch, followed by a daughter-grandson fudge pie making contest. The grandson won, by the way!:) Also included were skooters and skateboards, bubbles and balls, a little bit of video games, and grandsons mixing up twin double meatloaf recipes. They loved that gooey experience!:) Fried okra, mashed potatoes, fresh garden green beans, corn on the cob and sliced tomatoes. The famous fudge pie; piles of dirty dishes, and a closing game of Corn Hole, before everyone headed off to prepare for school tomorrow. Such was our day. I'm tired, but grateful!:)

A screen shot of Nana's facebook page says it all.  The family spent the day hanging out with the family.

A big shout out to Nana for one of the best Meatloafs ever!
