Home Sweet Home became something less when we arrived home to discover a strong power surge swept through our house while we were gone. Gone were all of the surge protectors, audio equipment and computers.
Panic was eventually replaced with relief when we learned that most of the damage was done to the surge protectors and everything else only required minor repairs - such as replacing the power supply.
Oh, to be as resilient as kids. Baby Bella was cheesing it up - so glad to be home again.
