Proven Wrong

We warned Isabella that the drive way wasn't ready to walk or drive on.  She set our to prove us wrong but in the end proved us right.

Nana & The Butt Heads

Nana fought off cabin fever with a visit from the butt heads.  I do think she enjoyed them.

Successfully Off the Ridge

Well, I made it off the Ridge but had to drive through the grass to get there.  The road down is still a solid sheet of ice. The main roads, mostly clear.  After a successful meeting, Isabella walked down the hill so I could pick her up for dinner.  It seems she and Deborah are getting cabin fever on day 4.

Winter Storm - Day 3

Ice, lots of ice but the sun did come through. Minus six at 4am and minus two at 7am.  We needed all the sun we could get. Blessed to still have power and water.

Winter Storm - Day 2

It has turned into more of an ice event. Very happy the electric and water have held.  The day started with warm milk for the goats and sausage biscuits for the Cains.

Who are you kidding - they are inside being fed warm milk in a bottle and being rocked to sleep. You couldn't find two goats more spoiled the whole world over.  Disclaimer: you can't be sad while rocking a goat to sleep. It's a scientifically impossible. 

Climbing Day

Perhaps it's in anticipation of the incoming weather but all of the critters were climbing today. We spent the afternoon trying to get the farm and animals ready for the winter storm.  They seem to wired up.
