Covid Snowman

When it snows during Covid and all you have is 30 minutes of energy to build a snowman.  We gave it all we had.  This is our Covid snowman.

Pancake Experiment

Well, that went well!  Isabella and I decided to experiment with pancake options - like pancake cereal and a Mickie Mouse pancake.   It went well until I dropped the batter bottle on the floor and it exploded every where.  But we had fun anyway.  What else you going to do on Covid quarantine?

Well, here we go again.  All three of us have Covid-19.  Which variant, I am not sure but it seems to fit the Omicron characteristics.

Perhaps you see why we check the forecasts first thing when we wake up.  It's important to know how to dress.  Even when you are just loading the car and heading to the airport.

Look what we spotted on the way to the airport, a wolf.  Montana is an amazing place.

Jackson, Wyoming

It is poorly named. It might have been Jackson Freezing, Wyoming.  We woke to these temps today.  It's a great thing we don't have plans for outdoor activity.  After breakfast we'll drive back to West Yellowstone.  Tomorrow - going home day.

Side Trip

We could have just gotten in the truck and headed straight back to West Yellowstone but where's the fun in that?  A couple of people told us about a little two lane road outside of town where you might run into some wild life.  Yep, that had me at wild life.  It wasn't long before we spotted some elk on the hillside.  And further up on the rock, mountain sheep.

Moose

 

It has been become something of a joke among our group, we have had an amazing epic time but I still hadn't seen a moose.  A moose was very much on my list this week.  We looked out through the field and look what we spotted sitting down, taking it easy.   MOOSE!

Big Moose

It's my lucky day. Not a quarter mile down the road, we spotted this guy snacking on some sage brush.  Not just a moose, a big Moose.  My trip is complete! #epic  #bucketlist
