Bella and the Penquins

It could be the title of a documentary one day, Isabella and the Penguins.

All of our trips to an Aquarium end have ended with a tale of Isabella and a Penguin with whom she seems to have a connection. This one was no different.   The penguin in the second photo jumped off the rock and swam over to Isabella and followed her around the glass.

Hmm, maybe we should call her the penguin whisperer.

All Aboard

You can't go to Chattanooga without riding the train.  We enjoyed a ride aboard the Tennessee Valley passenger train.   A first for Skyler and Isabella.

Turntable

At the end of the line we were allowed to get off the train to watch the engine get turned around on the turntable.  Bella and I mused that we had seen that before on Thomas the Train but never in person.

Don't you love it when your Saturday morning cartoon comes to life?

Train Yard

Good times exploring some of the trains in the yard.  This visit to Grand Junction has the family talking about a train trip in the near future.

The Incline Railway

All Aboard, the steepest incline railway in the world.  The family took an over due weekend trip to see Lookout Mountain, Rock City and Chattanooga.

A first for Isabella and Skyler, the inclined railway didn't disappoint - especially the steep part.

Lookout Mountain

A view from the top.

Rock City

Rock City!  Wonderful weather for an afternoon in the rock garden.

Mother Nature's Charm

High, low, narrow, slick, leaning and wedged - the charm of Mother Nature on display at Rock City.
