Praying for a Night...

...of sleeeeeeeeep!  It has been almost two full weeks since Baby Bella has slept through the night in her bed.   I have been kicked in the ribs, kicked in the face, kicked in the chins and kicked in the...well, never mind.

Just sayin'.  I would give the family farm for a good night of rest.  And that resounding "amen" you hear is from Deborah.

Child Labor

I wonder, is it still considered child labor if they insist on helping and are having fun?  I hope not.

Bella insisted on helping Daddy get the convention products stored away.  She was even willing to get into the front seat and turn every knob in the car in the exact opposite direction that I wanted it to go.  You just can't find good help like that anywhere.

Ventilated

With the temperatures upstairs reaching 94 today, Baby Bella came downstairs, took her shirt off and laid down on the AC vent.  What she lacks in dignity she makes up for with ingenuity.

We will be camping out downstairs again tonight.

Heat Wave

Why are these two snuggling in a sleeping bag on the living room floor?  Because our upstairs AC unit has given up the ghost (may it rest in peace) during the hottest heart wave in many years.

The House of Cain is sleeping downstairs this evening.  Here's hoping the replacement unit can make it here soon.

Color Me Home

We were all shocked at how colorful the back yard had become in the six short days we spent at Amelia Island.  The color and beauty was a wonderful welcome home that made this Monday transition back to work a little easier.

Even Baby Bella seemed happy to be back in her routine this morning.

A Grand Welcome Home

Grandma and Grandpa met us at Cracker Barrel for lunch - what a grand welcome back from vacation.

Vacation 2011 - Headed to the Airport

Bella and Skyler played on the people movers while we waited for the plane.  Bella got really good at getting on and off by her self.

Thank God for another safe journey to and from Amelia Island.

Vacation 2011 - Friday

But not TGIF - Friday means we go home tomorrow. 

The day started as usual but rain moved in shortly there after.  We made our way back to the showers and headed out for some ice cream and shopping.

Vacation 2011 - Dance Partners

The rain couldn't dampen the spirit of the island singers or the children.  Bella took up with new friends and they danced their way around the lobby of the hotel.

We could hardly pry Bella away from the oldest girl, she just loved hanging out with her.  Turns out her name is Isabel.  Isabel and Isabella danced  the night away.
