White Christmas

An inch of snow gave us our first White Christmas in recent memory.

Christmas Dinner

And off we go to see Nana and Papa and to enjoy a wonderful Christmas dinner.

Little Drummer Girl

Baby Bella had a blast blasting us out of the house with her drum. Nana and Papa, in a clear act of anger towards Mommy and Daddy, gave Baby Bella a drum for Christmas. LOL!

We continue to think our Baby Bella is destined for a future in music and dance. She takes to it so naturally. Talent that she clearly did not inherit from her Daddy.

Great Grandma

Great Grandma couldn't come to us so we went to her. She was in great spirits and was delighted to see everyone. She even managed to make Deborah blush.

Papa's Feet

If you wonder why you mostly see Papa's legs and feet in pictures these days...that is usually where you find Baby Bella. She loves to just park it at his feet or tug on his pants. And don't let him fool you - he loves it.

Christmas Eve Shopping

Daddy started his Christmas shopping on Christmas Eve, 9:00am, kids in tow. We took time out for a good lunch and were finished by 2:00pm.

An unusually late shopping season for Daddy but the schedule hasn't been too friendly to the Holiday season. All in all, it was a fun day. Baby Bella enjoyed the hustle and bustle in the mall - Daddy enjoyed her holding his hand.

Christmas Eve Cooking

Aw, the welcome aroma of Christmas dinner in the oven. Mommy and Baby Bella made sweet potato casserole while Skyler made chocolate chip cookies for Santa.

Kettle Chips

Baby Bella learned what all of the fuss was about...she tried her very first Sea Salt Kettle Chip and joined the family in a new love affair. The family celebrated by....yep, finishing off the whole bag.

Apparently, there is something about Kettle Chips that makes a girl want to lean back and throw her feet up on the table.

Christmas Eve - Sound Asleep

Once the kids were tucked in their beds fast asleep, it was time for Mommy and Daddy to exchange their gifts. Santa brought Mommy her coveted yellow plaid Dooney & Bourke. Daddy was doing the happy dance over his new Canon D-SLR camera. (all the better to blog with)

Most of all, Mommy and Daddy were thankful for each other and the little ones upstairs with visions of sugar plums dancing in their head.
