Farm Girl Attire

A few days back at the Mule Festival, one of the vendors was a company relaunching an old brand called Farm Boy / Farm Girl.  They fell in love with Isabella and gave her several pieces of their apparel and asked that we send them photo's they could share on-line. Here is what we sent them.  Amazing apparel, amazing farm girl.

The Disciples

Literally, a following of five where ever we go on the farm. EVERYWHERE!  They are afraid of nothing.

But, Really?

I'm going to need these cats to get out of the pasture! They walk anywhere, even under the mules and horses.  The bottom picture is little Bobbi laying underneath a 1,200lbs mule.  Yikes! I now know why curiosity killed the cat.
 

Cabin Canines

Breakfast in the cabin was a good chance to say to goodbye to the Riley Canines.

Hen & Chicks - Add Bacon

A breezy morning to cook breakfast outside.  Bacon, eggs, hot sausage and biscuits. Nothin better.

Rob on the Range

After breakfast, it was time to head  down to the range for Rob to zero in his new scope.  Deer season is almost here - the time to prepare is now.   Bella and I provided the eyes. 

S'mores on a Shovel

I was laughed at, mocked and called a redneck - on my own farm.  Bella wanted s'mores and we couldn't find the normal skewers to make them.  So I improvised like any Dad would.  I grabbed the small shovel, put foil over it, laid the smores down on the foil and held it over the flame.  Bingo!  S'mores for my baby girl! Now ya'll hush!  And yes, the cat needed to be warmed in my jacket. Again, y'all hush.
 

Fall Fire

What a perfect Fall night to sit by the fire and enjoy our KY family - the Riley's.  They drove their camper down and gonna stay on Sedona Ridge for the weekend.  Couldn't ask for better weather for a camp out.

Halter Business

Clara's new "Daddy means business" halter.  The one that gives Daddy a little more say in how she behaves.  Wonder how these work on wives and daughters?  Oh well, I'll never know. My girls have me halter broke.

Attack Cats

Candy & The Cats

Ms. Candy stopped by to love on the two cats she gave us and to meet the others.  Can you tell how happy she is?

Ranch Riveras

Bella and I were up early, heading over to Ranch Riveras to take care of Kelli's horse for her.  We walked forever before we found them on the back side of the ranch.  Then collected them and brought them back to the barn for feed and grooming.
 

Meet Ted

Mr. Ted is the pasture leader at Ranch Riveras.  He's a really steady horse with incredible manners.  He did excellent for Isabella.
