Steamboat Valentines

Happy Valentines Day from Steamboat Springs - where the snow if taller than me and according to Isabella, it tastes good.

8th Street Steakhouse

Our friends who recommended 8th Street Steakhouse left out the part where you go to the Butcher Counter to select your cut of meat and then walk to the grill and prepare it yourself.  But they were spot on about the food.  What a fun night and great event to celebrate Valentines Day.
 

Southwest to Steamboat

The early call for Southwest this morning, excited to be headed to Steamboat for the first time ever.  Our annual ski trip is on!

Steamboat Square

First up, a ride over to Steamboat Square for ski fitting and our first look at the mountain.   We are thrilled to have Tiffani and Kyle along for the trip this year.

Trailer Placement

Not much time to spare for the farm today but I was excited to get the trailer moved to its planned destination.  With not a lot of room to spare on the corners, we were able to drive it behind the cabin to park.  I love it when a plan comes together.

Colvin & Cain's

These girls were reunited for an evening of dinner, games and fun.  Tiffani and her Mini Me.

Horse People

I guess we are officially horse people, or so it seems.  We went to pick up our trailer today  - I cannot even tell you excited we are to be able to go trail riding anytime we please.  And the goose neck was much easier to drive and park than I had anticipated.  I appreciate my friend Dennis riding along and coaching as we went.

Pasture Out-takes

Love our time in the pasture.  Even TN Whiskey is wearing the brand.

Ranger Stranger

Most days you are better off to leave the Ranger outside the pasture. Little Ms. Emerald Mae is our Curious George in the pasture.

Sunset Ridge

I love it when the girls text me to "stop by and grain the horses on your way home."  That always means one thing, I get to experience sunset on Sedona Ridge.  That's a good day, ya'll.
 

The Brand

As they say on Yellowstone, ride for the brand.  Deborah is killing it this morning, it looks like she's riding for the brand.

Fion & Cody

Our buddy Fion stopped by to meet Cody Banks - they got along great.

Pasture Pride

Another day helping these girls get their pasture perfected.  Lots of work after 120 days of neglect.
