Lots of Pasture "Help"

A rare 60 degree February day has me working in the pasture with short sleeves. And I had lots of "help."  I would say they were in the way but it was so nice getting to spend some time with these two inquisitive equines. 
 

Under Saddle

We were having such a wonderful day, I decided to push my luck and start getting Emerald used to being under saddle.  It has been so long since we've asked anything of her that I am just amazed at how well she did.  Big progress for this girl.

Tractor Supply Happens

We might be in trouble.  We walked into Tractor Supply for a couple of things....and Deborah made the mistake of picking up a puppy at the Adoption Event.  Quick! Someone tell her "NO."

Cody Banks

Meet Mr. Coty Banks.  Yes, we walked out with a dog. Cody's story is that he was abandoned at a church earlier this week.  The folks at Journey rescued him, got him shots and offered him up for adoption today.  He is roughly eight weeks old and is some type of shepherd mix.  We plan to have a genetic test done to determine the exact breed combination.

Cody & The Horses

After a stop to introduce Cody to Nana, it was off to the farm to introduce him to the horses.  Whew, relieved that went well.  Everybody was playing nice today.

Cabin Introductions

Next up, cabin introductions.  Cody Banks is going to do just great at the farm. He seemed to especially enjoy his nap in my cabin.

Apparently, Cody does stairs at 8 weeks.  He did not even flinch.

Farm Selfies

Looking forward to getting home to see this girl tomorrow. Happy she takes some farm selfies to share while I'm on the road.

Hair Biz

The girls practicing for a career in hair.  Who knows what they choose to do but they certainly enjoy this process.
