It will be a 15 hour day but let's rock this thing. Good customers, good friends, good people. This is why we do what we do. #blessed

The Guilt
Why is it, that every time the family is about to leave town, these two stare at me like this? It works, I feel guilty. But they know Marlee takes great care of them - their just playing with my emotions.

Donkey Appreciation
It's a running joke in our house that "those donkeys don't appreciate all that we do for them." Well, Deborah could wait to text me this picture of our stubborn ones enjoying their new dry lot. I do believe that is a look of appreciation. At least they are finding it useful.

Just the Facts
So...a boat pulled up and 23 Pirates got off and tried to kidnap my family. I successfully fought them off with only a thumb injury to show. Yeah, Pirates. That's the story I'm going with. The Dr. says it's a hairline fracture to the thumb - no surgery required.
What also happened is I fell forward on one of the playground rides and ended up with all 195lbs of my weight on my thumb joint. I don't recommend trying that at home.

Pretty Women the Musical
Our TPAC season continued with Pretty Women. Isabella loved the show, now we can't get the song out of our collective head.
Dessert and Music
Don't judge. I feel like your judging. Don't judge. I sent a text to our friend, pianist Jamie Higdon, and told him we missed him at Jeff Ruby tonight. He sent back that would be on stage at 9pm and that we should stop back in for dessert after the show. And so we did. Oh, and Isabella was wild about the chocolate cake. Me? I was all in on the beignets and coffee. Good times, even if we didn't get home til after midnight.
