Nana adopted soldiers Cabrera and Church to write and encourage during basic.  This was the first time she got to meet them or talk to them.  They were very appreciative of the love and support.  And Skyler appreciated Nana sharing the love with his battle buddies.

Candy Cane Wreath

What a fun night with my crafty little elf.  We decided to make a candy cane wreath.  Yes, there were casualties along the way.  Some candy canes were broken and others were eaten.  All-in-all, a great time.  Lady Juliet really didn't help but Isabella wanted to give her photo credit anyway.

There's never a bad time for biscuits.  Isabella requested a hot breakfast snack after our craft project.  OK, my me.  Through in a little Hot Tennessee Pride sausage - mmmmm.  Breakfast for dinner.

4th Infantry Division

It's official, Pvt. Skyler Cain has been issued orders to join the 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson in  Colorado Springs.  He is being assigned to the 2nd Battalion Stryker Combat Brigade Team.    #Ivystrong  #Steadfast&Loyal  #WarHorse
