This has become as much fun as the rides for Isabella.  And she scored a huge rock in this effort.  Work well done, sweet girl.

The Cool Down

We enjoyed a cool down night swim after a long hot day at Dollywood.  Isabella impressed us by sliding head first down the slide and being able to swim all the way across the pool without coming up for air.  Big progress in the water for our girl.

A long evening walk along the pier was exactly what was needed after a long day in an office.

A long walk on the pier ended with a long sit on the pier.  I totally lost myself in the beauty of the Pensacola Beach Sunset.   God is amazing!

GPS Wrong!!!!!

An early morning flight to Pensacola for work.  Grabbed a rental car, entered my coordinators and headed out.  Little did I know that GPS doesn't understand when a road is exclusive to military personnel.  It took me straight to the  checkpoint gates at the Naval Air Station. 

No, they didn't fire on me.  They laughed, turned me around and off I went. An international crisis was avoided.

I know I'm going to live to regret this but the girls have taken a liking to going to Starbucks with me.  This could become an expensive habit.

5th Grade Teacher Reveal

These girls are going to have an amazing year!!!!  Not only did they score great teachers but they also scored the same classes.  They will go through 5th Grade together.  Just as it ought to be.

Off to Louisville for the Annual CANA gathering.  Feeling like a blessed man with my wife her bestie.

Face Time Cookie

I so look forward to these Facetimes together when I'm on the road.  Bella enjoyed a cookie while we talked - it looked pretty good to be honest.

Sick Puppy

This little girl is under the weather and Daddy had the pleasure of taking her to the dreaded vet.  All will be well, just some time needed.
