Strawberry Daiquiri Princess

The Mirage Dolphin Habitat

Dolphins in the desert, who knew? We keep finding ourselves interacting with dolphins - and it never gets old. We are all intrigued.

Delightful Dolphins

Showing off with a few tricks. We even watched them take a fecal sample from one - I decide not to photograph that. The dolphin had not signed a Hippa form so I wasn't sure I had permission.

Oh, nothing, just hanging with Siegfried and his cats. We reluctantly left the dolphin habitat and headed for the Secret Garden. Imagine our surprise when we ran into none other than Siegfried himself. He insisted on talking to us and taking pictures. He is a fascinating man, indeed.

A Special Coin

Mr. Seigfried took Isabella by the arm and did a magic trick. He found a gold coin with a lions head on it under her arm. She had no clue it was there. He gave her the coin as a keepsake.

I think Mom and I are more star struck than the kids. Trying act calm but this is way cool.

The Big Cats

This really makes you glad Noah spared two of every living creature.

Pacing with the Cat

Hmm. The way this big cat started pacing behind Deborah, I am starting to think he is either thinking of mating or dinner. Don't know which.

Mandalay Bay Shark Reef

Next up, the shark and turtle reef at Mandalay Bay. It had a lot to live up to after Mirage. It was cool but I'm not sure they are in the same league.

New York in Las Vegas

Final stop of the day, Hershey's Chocolate World in New York, New York! Our feet and the heat tell us this is it. Final stop on our amazing Thursday in Las Vegas.

Venetian's Family Pool

We found the large family pool deck and decided to spend our whole day relaxing in and by the water.

Bellagio

An evening at the Bellagio began in the garden, followed by the legendary Bellagio Buffet. Yes, I said buffet. Good eatin' - even our Isabella ate well.

O Cirque Du Soleil

Ten years ago Deborah and I had tickets to see the show "O" in Las Vegas. We got as far as the airport parking lot before I was feeling sick - as in stomach virus sick. We cancelled our trip, came home and by late afternoon Deborah had it too. For three days, our young Skyler took care of us - we certainly couldn't take care of ourselves. It was the sickest either of us had been in our life.

Tonight, we accomplished our goal to see the show "O". Ten years in the making, "O by Cirque Du Soleil.
