Birthday- Phase 1
Celebrating her birthday with her family on her actual birthday. Looking forward to celebrating with friends on Saturday. It truly has become a birthday week. Oh, and very much of an American Girl birthday.

Churchill Downs Out Takes
Flipping through the memory card to view Mothers Day pictures I realized that I hadn't pulled off the pictures from our stop over at Churchill Downs. We had stopped on our way out of town on post-Derby Sunday to catch a short line at the gift shop. What a special place, Churchill Downs.
Always Dreaming
Posing next to her winning pick, Always Dreaming will always be her Kentucky Derby memory. I will never forget her dancing around the box after her horse won. Proof still, you don't have to be from Kentucky to love the Derby.
Derby Art
While Mommy and Daddy were away at the Derby, Isabella was at Nana's celebrating Derby Day with some art. She painted jockey silks and horses.
Inside Out
After a morning of art, Isabella went outside to help Papa and Skyler with some yard work. She concluded her evening with some pet sitting in the TV room.

Paris Girl
My little Paris girl! All decked out in her "I heart Paris" outfit, wearing a scarf a friend brought her back from Paris. This girl is all things Paris. Always asking Daddy, "when are you taking me to Paris?"

Monday at the Dentist
Monday morning at the Dentist means the day begins in the lobby arcade. Isabella was due x-rays and as usual, she rocked it out. I really credit big brother with how well she does at the Dentist office. They always go for cleanings together - he is in the bay right next to her so she has learned it's OK from him.
Lead on, Sky man. They eyes of a little sister are upon you.

Joys of Gardening
Isabella explaining the joys of gardening to a neighborhood friend. He just couldn't understand why she would prefer to dig and plant rather than ride bikes with him. A hint for this confused young man, a gardeners heart is always in the garden. Meet her there and you have truly met her.

Cursive Writing
Sitting at Bojangles, Isabella picks up a napkin and starts practicing her cursive writing. Cursive writing? I had no idea they were introducing this in 2nd Grade. I consider that to be progress. Good job, Baby Girl.

Reagan on Reagan
I am so proud of Isabella and her hard work on her second grade project. She is named after our 40th President and decided to do her history project on her namesake. She did excellent - both in preparation and in presentation to all of the 2nd grade classes. Lead on, Isabella Reagan.

Home Depot Dog
Isabella and Juliet hugging it out in the garden section of Home Depot. They are clearly DIY kind of girls.
