The Kentucky Derby 143
The fastest two minutes in sports was exactly that. Not much time to think or take pictures. What a great experience for a boy born and bred in Kentucky.

Oaks Day
It's Oaks Day in Kentucky and while the racing faithful headed out to the track, we headed out to make history.
Run for the Roses
Since 1932 the Kentucky Derby winner has been draped with a garland of red roses. Today, Deborah was honored to be invited to sew one of the last roses onto this years garland. It contains over 400 pristine red roses and weighs 42 pounds.
Since 1983, Kroger Florist has constructed the Derby Garland under the watchful eye of the public. #derby143 #myolekentuckyhome #bucketlist
