Every hula party needs a hula girl cake.  And so it was.  Sure wish I knew what the birthday girl wished for.  From where I stand, she has it all.

Smile of Appreciation and Gratitude

Everyone has a favorite part of the day, this was mine.  At the end of the party and the clean up - which is to say at the end of a long day.  I climbed in the hammock for a short rest.  Isabella came over to join me and express her appreciation for everything we did for her.  Her smile said it best.  She didn't even need to say the words but I'm glad she wanted to express her gratitude.

DIY

Isabella helping cut wood at Home Depot.  No matter where she is, she's in the middle of whatever is going on.  What she doesn't know is that this piece of wood is being used in planning for her party tomorrow.  That makes this the ultimate Do It Yourself project.
