Leaving On a Jet Plane...

...Don't know when I'll be back again."   Quick, who sang the song?  John Denver, of course.  But in this case that isn't altogether true, I know when I'm coming back.  But I'm leaving on a jet plane - for the beach!

Bella couldn't wait to go shopping with her birthday gift card.  She is getting really, really good at this gift card thing.  She managed to walk out with an armload of loot and a huge smile on her face.

6th Birthday

Six years ago today, Mommy and I were being introduced to the newest addition to our family. We believed then what we know now, she is a gift from heaven.  Happy Birthday, Princess Isabella.  Daddy's heart beats for you.

Stand Up Birthday

One of the great joys of having a birthday in Kindergarten is that the celebrant gets to stand in a chair and have all of their friends sing happy birthday to them.  Mommy and I took cupcakes and juice boxes to help put the party in overdrive.

And yes, she chose a boy to help her stand in the chair.  I noticed.  I won't comment, but I noticed.

Birthday with Grandpa

And of course, dinner with Grandpa to top off Isabella's sixth birthday.  What better way for these two ice cream buddies to celebrate than together.
